The AJM Pro-Cup Series was a fantasy racing league on AJM STUDIOS. It provided the same excitement as real NASCAR Racing does, but in an easy to use package for players.
About[]
In the series you create teams to compete against fellow website members, who are also team owners. As a team owner, you sign sponsors and sign drivers to race for your team. Races and points standings are all simulated accurately according to the owners participation and things purchases to improve the team.
History[]
The series first started with 43 cars in the race field each race, as well as a full 36 race circuit. The drivers were all real, except for a few exceptions.
The second season saw the decline in real drivers, and focused more on fictional drivers.
The third season saw a major shift in the game with only 20 drivers racing per race, and now fictional cars, tracks, and drivers. No real NASCAR drivers or tracks used.
AJM Pro-Cup Racing was started on February 22, 2007. It was officially announced that the series ended on January 2nd, 2010. After four complete seasons, the series ended due to lack of viewership, and participation. Overall, the series garnered over 12,100 views and over 3,550 posts. The series lasted 1,045 days which is 2 years, 10 months, and 11 days.
