Criminals Numbuh One is the second episode in the AJM STUDIOS series, Batsman and Batling. It was released in black and white, and at it's release, was the longest episode at four pages. It is no longer the longest episode.
Plot[]
This episode starts off at the city docks where the news media is reporting a major drug bust by city police. Lisa Shinegold, the news anchor, is seen for the first time as Batsman and Batling come in scene. Batsman calls her pregnant, and then is told by a perimeter police officer to leave the site, where he then just runs off. Batsman runs into Detective Carter for the first time in the series, and it is implied that they have met many times before. A hiding criminal pops up and holds Detective Carter at gun point. Batsman quickly attacks the gunner as police swarm in and capture the villain. The media come in honoring Batsman for his job well done, which leads him to say he caught criminal number one. This leads us to believe this is only the first criminal he has captured.
