JTV Channel 48 was an original thread series by AJM STUDIOS member Josh. The thread has a basic set up. Each "newscast" is broken up into two parts. The first half has a funny video, while the second half has a question posed to the viewers. Who ever gets the question right first, gets their name on a list of weekly winners. There is a news cast theme, with humor. This channel is on short circuit within the AJM STUDIOS headquarters and played for other AJM STUDIOS buildings. It was not widely broadcasted. It was not a backed production by AJM STUDIOS. The channel was officially shut down on January 8, 2011, with no word from the creator.
The series was released on March 9, 2010 to an excited audience. It received high views, but was quickly noted as not being as flashy as a production fully backed by AJM STUDIOS. JTV was never backed by AJM STUDIOS, but is the first thread started by Josh to receive a "fancier" intro section. It was quickly noticed at the better craftsmanship in this thread compared to previous threads by Josh. The aspect of a trivia question each news cast added to the fun. Almost as quickly as the series started, Josh announced a halt to the series until he was finished moving (not actually stating that till way later). April 22, 2010 was the official announcement. After just 8 episodes, JTV Channel 48 stopped until further notice. The channel was officially shut down on January 8, 2011, with no word from the creator.
